Susan Aucoin, Board Member

Susan Aucoin is a Flight Operations Manager for a Part 91 flight department, overseeing operations based in Boston and Austin. She holds an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and earned a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University.

With a passion for travel from an early age, Susan was naturally drawn to aviation. In 2009, she took her first step into the industry through an internship with Massport, gaining hands-on experience in Airport Operations at Hanscom Field (KBED). Since then, she has built a career across FBO operations, flight operations, including scheduling and dispatch, and corporate flight attendant roles, giving her a broad perspective on the operational, logistical, and people-focused aspects of business aviation.

Beyond her professional role, Susan serves on the Massachusetts Business Aviation Association (MBAA) Board of Directors and is a member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee. In 2026, she was named an NBAA Top 40 Under 40 recipient in the Scheduler/Dispatcher category. She is passionate about leadership, advocacy, and mentorship and enjoys sharing her experiences and practical insights to help others navigate their careers, build meaningful connections, and contribute to the future of business aviation.
